Your Bucket List in Singapore

Singapore FlyerSome of Singapore’s locals as well as other naive tourists tend to say that there’s not much to do in Singapore. Nothing could be further from the truth, as Singapore is much more than just the Merlion statue. In fact, there’s quite a lot to do in Singapore and if you find yourself in need of a bit of rest and relaxation, adventure and attraction, or immersion in the spectacular and the wild, Singapore has all of this and more.

Melting Pot of Culture

Singapore has much to offer in terms of culture. You can visit Singapore’s Chinatown where you would meet not only the locals more immersed in their Chinese roots but also a taste of excellent Chinese cuisine.

There is also Little India where you can sample various spices and food. Alongside the music, experience the temples, so you surely would not run out of things to see.

Escape from the Urban Scenery

First among Singapore’s attractions is Sentosa Island, dubbed ‘Asia’s Favourite Playground’, where there are numerous beaches, spas, a golf club, and the popular Universal Studios Singapore where you can relax, enjoy, and play around to your heart’s content.

Singapore’s Botanic Gardens is a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. There is the virgin rainforest to experience here as well as the National Orchid Garden with thousands of species of orchid to appreciate. Many people come here to jog or practice tai chi and it is certainly one of the most relaxing places you could ever visit on Earth.

You can also visit the Singapore Zoo and the Night Safari, if animals are more your thing. They are right next to each other so it is convenient. The zoo is home to many primates where you get to see elephants and rhinos in the Night Safari.

Spectacle and Attractions

The Singapore Flyer, the world’s largest observations wheel, is where you can see much of the sights that Singapore can offer.  The Gardens by the Bay is an eye candy with greenhouses filled with many different plants and flowers. The Supertrees, jaw-dropping structures that rise up with spectacular colours, could also be found here.
